Key Psychologists

LAPPB chapter delegates appoint FPA members to serve as key psychologists. Key psychologists are responsible for developing a constructive working relationship with the elected official(s) in his or her district by communicating legislative positions, information, concerns, and ideas on behalf of FPA as directed through LAPPB. Key psychologists can also volunteer to specific organizations or other professional associations (i.e. NAMI; Florida Medical Association). Key psychologists are most effective when they are actually constituents of the assigned legislator(s). Key psychologists are not members of LAPPB by virtue of the position; however, they are accountable to their LAPPB chapter delegates.
